Lydia Walker is a singer/songwriter with a contemporary Christian folk sound. Her acoustic guitar and mellow voice blend an eclectic, organic style. Lydia's contagious energy flows through thoughtful lyrics and catchy melodies. Since 2004 she has performed at colleges, coffeehouses, church events and festivals. During that time she has written over 80 songs and recorded five independant albums.
From Lydia: Life is a grand adventure, and music is my expression of this tremendous journey. With God's guidance and my obedience, these songs flow from a heart that was searching and has been found. Thanks for listening, and for being supportive through my development. Keep checking back for new shows. My 5th album, an acoustic collection called "Seasons", is on sale now, featuring 15 songs! Buy your copy today for $10! We are releasing a band album called "Statistics" in February 2010. There are great things ahead... thanks for being a part of it!

"Lydia Walker is a true up and coming musical artist! During a recent BCM coffeehouse, Lydia shared her amazing gift of song writing and music. Our students loved her. She was crisp, clear, and honest...exactly what resonates with today's college students. She has a humbled spirit and tried to see how her ministry could compliment our ministry at the BCM. We plan to have her back this spring!" Morgan Owen (Director), UT-Martin BCM
"Lydia has a heart for God and people that really comes out in her music. You will be blessed by her music and sweet spirit." Daniel Doss, Recording Artist, Sparrow Records
"Lydia is a natural musician. She never attempts to overpower you.
She expresses an authentic faith through her musical artistry.
Our BCM students find an intimacy with her and her music.
Her music draws you in. You want to listen. You take the journey with her.
We are blessed that she is our home-town girl.
She is one of us." Jim Alexander, Retired BCM Director, APSU
"Singer/Songwriter and all around wonderful person Lydia Walker...has become a regular here at the Blue Note, and we’re thrilled to be able to present her acoustic song craft...
